For the first couple of nights I chose to sleep on the balcony of the villa - I had a mosquito net covering me and slept very well, with the creatures of the night surrounding me - it reminded me of the times I slept in the garden as a child. The only downsides were the early morning wasps (who are particularly active due to the grape season) and the unforgiving heat rays from the sun.
